Dog Policy:
Sadly we have made the decision not to allow dogs back into the garden centre, farm shop or restaurant (indoors or outdoors), apart from assistance dogs. This has not been an easy decision to make, but we have had to listen to the feedback from our staff and customers. Our staff were having to clear up dog foul and urine on a daily basis where some customers hadn’t cleaned it up themselves or alerted a member of staff. We appreciate that the majority of dog owners are responsible, but we can’t keep asking our staff to clear up after other people’s dogs. We are aware that there will be a lot more dog owners due to lockdown so the problem would only get bigger. We fully appreciate that people will be upset and frustrated by this decision, but we have to put our staff and customer welfare first and hope that you will understand.
Dog fitting service & nutrition advice:
We are now offering a dog fitting service and nutrition advice. If you need to bring your dog into the pet department for this, you can either book in person with Becky or Jo, or give them a call on 01844 290395. We can weigh your dogs and give weight management advice, if needed. We can also help with harness, collar, and coat fitting. This service must be prebooked to ensure the members of staff are available, and dogs can only be brought into the pet department.
